Walltown presents a pre-professional full length original musical production each Winter. Over the years, Walltown has either written, helped developed or commissioned original works, which it then workshopped with its students and adult actors. As the plays are presented year after year, they are adapted to the students currently enrolled at the school. Each of Walltown's works has become beloved by the community, and theatre goers look forward to them each year.
The Winter production provides advanced students an opportunity to work in a professional setting with adult actors and Technicians, often outside of the intimate Black Box environment. Our Winter productions serve as our primary fundraiser, generating funds to sustain general Theatre and administrative expenses, and provide scholarships and supplemental program dollars.
